About Bullion Keeper

Bullion Keeper is a precious-metals tracker for iPhone, iPad and Mac from Code 1 Studios. It tracks live spot prices for gold, silver, platinum, palladium and copper, plus rhodium once it’s enabled in Settings. Prices work straight away from free public sources, with no account needed, and connecting your own metalpriceapi.com account unlocks up-to-the-hour rates and price history graphs. For each holding you can record the metal, quantity, serial number, grade, mint, mintage and photos, along with the purchase price and date. Bullion Keeper then shows the current value and profit or loss for each holding and for the whole portfolio. Portfolio data is stored on the device.

Waiting for App Store review

Coming in version 1.1

Version 1.1 has been submitted and is waiting for App Store review. It isn’t available yet. Once it’s approved, it adds:

Current Value and Get Value: a live melt estimate for bullion, plus eBay sold listings and Numista searches for coins. Bullion Keeper never sets a price itself; you enter the value.
Custom holding icons made from your own photos, with background removal on the device.
Photo tools: Remove Background and Enhance, which save a copy and keep the original.
Country of Origin for each holding.
